Thank you for your thoughtful responses. In page Inspect, I saw the error on the http that should be https; the problem is that I cannot fine out where The Turning Gate puts it, so I shall ferret that one out with them.

The Dashboard is not user friendly for a TTG design, so again, I shall check with them.

My coding skills are quite decent. My original website was done entirely with coding, and while the current site is much more complicated and now done through a program, I have not lost and still use my html experience.

Thank you. Perhaps it is the upgraded template I am using? Would that also come through WordPress.com?

Someone at Rating-Widget found that there was an error with the program and fixed it for me. There have been no further issues.

At BCphotoadventures, I have not installed the rated widget. The blog is a WordPress-type blog, and that is where we expect to see it. It still is not showing up in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or even on my iPad

Where do you see it? Can you send a screen shot, as we are not seeing it anywhere at this end.

If I edit the posts, the ratings show up, as in https://www.bcphotoadventures.com/blog/2010/01/13/%C2%A9-is-for-copyright/ which shows 31 5-star ratings, yet on the blog itself above, it does not show up at all.

In all cases, in editing, there is a message at the top that says, You are just one step away – Activate “Rating-Widget: Star Review System” Now

When I click on that, I am taken to the Allow & Continue box, where I click again. The box says “Activating” then shucks me off to a blank screen, and when I return to my blog, the rating-widget is still not there.

My husband and others don’t see it on their computers either.

I will need a temporary e-mail in order to give you temporary admin access. O assume your name is Vova Feldman??? Then you will receive, by e-mail, your access.

Thank you, James. In one place where you edit your posts, it shows; In another, it does not! Ah well. It used to also show up under the HTML tab.

I may have tracked down the glitch, although I don’t know what to do to fix it. I found that Rating-Widget wanted me to activate it again (do not understand why it was deactivated, as I never did that). I go through the activation process and come to a screen that tell me to Allow & Continue so that “To use the plugin we need to connect your account to rating-widget.com and freemius.com.”

I click on the link, and am taken to a blank page. I don’t think that is how it is supposed to work!

I am having the same issue. Rating-Widget used to work fine, but when WordPress upgraded, it stopped. It no longer appears on any of my pages at https://www.BCphotoadventures.com/blog/

First, thank you for responding so quickly. I will upgrade, but that should not make a difference, since the older versions of WordPress showed the rating stars at the top of each blog. Now, when you look at my latest blog, there are none. It must have something to do with the new layout and look of WordPress, as I have not deactivated my plugins, and when I look under PlugIns, it shows that it supposedly is active.

Another issue, with the new look of WordPress, I cannot find the old “more” feature when you wanted to not have the whole blog on the front page.

I find it works, then it stops working, usually when there is an update. I always save my settings, so something apparently is amiss. I will send you an e-mail.
