In reply to: [Wordpress Image Hover Lite] Does not work at allOhhhhh, well that’s a bit disappointing. ??
Won’t work well for me because I have quite a few writers and I think that will just be tedious for them to add that extra bit of work to their table.

In reply to: [PHPEnkoder] Using it with get_the_author_meta?Yea figured out what you meant. The output is still the same though ??
I don’t know if the fact that it’s outside the loop and on the author page will make a difference to the equation?

In reply to: [PHPEnkoder] Using it with get_the_author_meta?Ah ok! haha
Just tried it and it doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve got this as the raw output.
<div id="ap-email">Email: [email protected]<script type="text/javascript">the long string of code here</script><a href="mailto:"></a></div>
The email still showed up and the code didn’t seem to encode everything.

In reply to: [PHPEnkoder] Using it with get_the_author_meta?Haha thanks! At the moment we’re trying to become fully complaint to qualify for Google News service, and they’re asking that we include some form of front facing contact per author. Usually I wouldn’t have done that but yea.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CDN Unable to list distributionsSeems the test thingy is broken. I’ve seen hundreds of reports where the test either times out with Cloudfront or just hangs with other servers. I used MaxCDN and I’m now with EdgeCast and both hung. However according to reports on my CDN’s end, cached content is being delivered as a it should and the URLs also reflect it.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CloudFront costs with CDNSomeone may have linked your photo elsewhere an pulled the CDN image. e.g. if they linked it to Reddit or something. That could easily skyrocket your traffic. You should set up an access log though to see where it’s coming from via the Cloudfront distribution panel.
Ohhh hmm. Yea I was thinking the same as well. I guess it would be beyond your plugin’s control. But thanks for the help though!
They were smaller but I tried it with smaller images as well (reducing them to 1280×720 and lower) but still got the same type of behaviour. I have yet to see any real correlation so far.
Thank you! Great plugin ??
Well if it’s not supported by CDNs, then I guess I can’t go further with this discussion, even though when I tried it out, it was when our CDN was disabled.
I get the same error when I upload it directly as well. When I resmush it (via the link given next to the error message) or bulk smush, it works fine.
I host with HostGator. Shared hosting, Apache type setup etc.
