In reply to: [Admin Notices Manager] Persistent Notices. How to ‘Hide Notice Forever’Hello Robert.
Many thanks for your kind offer.
We have just sent you an email to the address you list above. The attached installable zip files are quite large and it may have landed in your spam folder.
Do let me know, if you haven’t received the email and we can send the files via WeTransfer.
Thank you for your help with this.

Dear @kimmyx
Many thanks for your reply.
We noticed that when we untick the following setting that the files appear:
- Popup Maker > Settings > Misc > Disable asset caching
We see the following two files:
- /wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/assets/css/pum-site.min.css
- /wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/assets/js/site.min.js
Many thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Geo Controller] Geo Targeting Pop-upDear Ivijan
Sorry, another follow-on question:
Does your plugin work with Gutenberg, i.e. is a new geo-targeting section added to each block?
Many thanks for clarifying.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Guest Mode: Cookie Banner Loads Twice!Dear @qtwrk
many thanks for your reply.
Interesting that the first load under guest mode is not designed to interact with. We might build on this and block interaction until the Cookie Banner has been acknowledged.
We have just noticed that Real Cookie Banner’s latest update has solved this issue, as they are now splitting and lazy loading the files in parallel.
It works really well now ??
Best regards

Would you have a suggested solution?
Many thanks for looking into this.

Dear @angelagrey
Many thanks for the suggestion.
We have some currencies where have set a fixed price and I see the warning in the plugin that JSON doesn’t work with fixed prices.
I agree, we have also found with Auto Detect, that “Inherited from Server” is faster. “MaxMind Geolocation” doesn’t seem to work.

Piet

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Guest Mode: Cookie Banner Loads Twice!Dear @qtwrk
Many thanks for your reply.
It is the exact opposite:
- the banner shows on the first load, and
- it ALSO shows on the 2nd/reload, even if you have accepted during the first load.
In other words, it shows twice and it is frustrating for a visitor having to accept it twice.
The suggestion is to find a way to exclude the banner from the first load and ONLY show it during the re-load.
Would you have a proposal how this can be achieved?
Many thanks for your help with this.

Dear Angela,
This is a pity. We see this more as a Bug report
We have since found that the following plugin is compatible with Safari on IOS 12.5.7 :

Dear Angela,
This is a pity. We see this more as a Bug report, i.e. slow admin-ajax.
We have since found that the following plugin doesn’t have any admin-ajax.php queries:

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Local Currency Requires ReloadHi Oscar,
Many thanks for this update & explanation.
Am I understanding your reply correctly and are you saying that you will raise this issue with the authors of Reach Cookie Banner:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/real-cookie-banner/
Many thanks for your help with this.
Reading your reply, we should not have to create a GDPR cookie notice for WooCommerce Geolocate, as long as we only use the value “Geolocate” (only) from the “Default customer location” drop down options. In other words, when choosing this option, no cookie will be set.
Kind regards,
Piet

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Local Currency Requires ReloadDear Oscar
Many thanks for your quick reply.
I have since found that our GDPR plugin (Real Cookie Banner) blocks your plugin working correctly.
The plugin includes a template/service for WooCommerce Geolocation, i.e. the cookie ‘woocommerce_geo_hash’ (HTTP cookie for 1 year with our website as the host).
When RCB blocks this cookie from being set, then your plugin doesn’t work correctly, i.e. GDPR needs to be accepted and the page reloaded before the local currency is shown.
As soon as I de-activate the cookie blocking template for WooCommerce Geolocation, your plugin works as expected, i.e. the local currency is shown correctly on the first load.
What still puzzles me is that I can’t see this cookie actually being set in Google Chrome Inspector.
If you do have some suggestions how this could be fixed that would be great but I suspect that I need to address this with authors of RCB.
With kind regards,
Piet
Dear Support,
Within the plugin under Location > Geo API, we have tried:
- WooCommerce: see above = slow
- External: seems to always default to USD; only 2 x admin-ajax queries; each query less than 1 second
- Inherited from Server: correct currency displayed; only 2 x admin-ajax queries; each less than 1 second = faster than WooCommerce
- MaxMind: doesn’t seem to work, as it defaults to the shop base currency. Would you know why? We have even generated a new key per this guide:
https://woo.com/document/maxmind-geolocation-integration/#section-4
These test were run with the two cache plugins de-activated: Litespeed WP plugin and WP Super Page Cache.
Best regards,
Piet

Just out of interest, are you planning to add an integration with Squirrly or is this currently not on your road map?
