In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Tickets nag screen will not go awayThis is not resolved. I just updated to the latest version of TEC and TEC Pro and I’m still seeing this on every admin page.

In reply to: [Podcast Importer SecondLine] Post Category field not populatingI have the posts associated with the default category that I have changed to ‘Podcast’.
I do have SSP install and activated, but I’m seeing a blank box without any Category names at all. The whole select box highlights when I click it.
Are you saying I need to create a Series taxonomy in SSP and then it will populate that field? Right now I have none.

In reply to: [Podcast Importer SecondLine] Post Category field not populatingThis is for standard post categories. I’ve tried the plugin on two installs and with both the default and additional categories.
The edit button answer makes sense.
Love the plugin, and I’m not being critical. I host on WP Engine and I didn’t interrupt the update process in any way. I did do a bulk update. Perhaps there’s a page redirect that is failing post update?
I got this same error, so it’s not a one-time issue.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsIn the beta package I found on line 567 of import_posts.php:
$added=$added=1;
In the current release version you have that as:
$added=$added+1;
Also, I couldn’t find a reference in the php5 manual for in_array_like. I changed both references in line 564 to simply in_array and I’m not getting duplicates anymore.
I was getting duplicates on each cron cycle. Also, when clicking “Click to fetch feeds now” it would always answer “The most recent valid feeds have been put into posts.” Now, once the feeds have been placed and if there are no new posts it answers “There were no new feed items to add.”

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsAllen – Have you updated the Beta recently. Before I put too much time into this issue I want to make sure I have the latest. Thanks!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsHere’s my environment – I run both the site that’s putting out the feed and the site that is running WP RSS Multi Importer. I’m not changing the feed or articles in any way. Both sites are running and super fast WP servers (my Google page speed scores are usually in the 90-95 range). I’m wondering if it’s a caching issue or perhaps my CDN is playing into it in some way?
I’ll try to tinker a bit and see what I can come up with. Thanks Allen!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsAllen – have you had a chance to look at why the beta is creating duplicates on each cron cycle yet? If not, which file would be doing the db comparison? I can look at it and see if I can figure out a fix.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsSpeaking of which… is there a place where we can donate for your excellent plugin?

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsAllen – This site is in beta so I can give you an admin account on the backend too if you’d like. I’m on WP Engine servers so I doubt they’d have the hiccup issues.
It may very well be a misunderstanding on my part in the setup. I’ve been using your plugin for awhile and it’s the absolute best, but I may have missed something on the new one.
Here’s a couple feeds to try:

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Assign Feeds To AuthorsI downloaded the beta package because the AutoPost to Author was a feature I was looking for as well. My site is in beta so I thought I’d give it a try.
I’m also getting duplicate posts on each import cycle. It would seem as if it’s not looking for new content but importing the total number of items per fetch per feed without checking to see if that post has already been imported?
I deactivated the feature for now.
