I fixed it!

It was in the permalinks. Somehow they got messed up – I checked my other sites and used them as an example.

What I had was

/’/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/’

And I changed it to this

/%category%/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

Of course – I meant I hadn’t changed anything myself. However, the theme has updated, and so has wordress.

No new customizations. No new content.

Would this category think just have happened? I haven’t changed anything and it’s been like this for years and years … literally!

Okay – tried that – wish it would have worked … but it didn’t ??

For some reason I can’t find a way to post my own question, but it kinda relates to this one.

During the last wordpress update something has happened so that I am getting 404 pages.
To see what I mean go to Theshift.com and check the two boxes labeled Podcast and Shift Ezine.

Three years ago this happened, and we did something. What was it?

Thanks, Michael. Okay, I went back and fixed all the links. So however it happened it worked the other way before – doesn’t matter as long as it doesn’t change back. ??

I made it work by taking out the podcast part – so now it reads for example: theshift.com/pod_cast_categories/the-months

BUT – this means I have to find all the links from before and change them.

I also have a category – store – that one too needs to have that category taken out and all the links changed.

And it could have been longer, I haven’t checked those links for awhile.

PLUS – sorry for if there are more of my questions showing up places around this same issue. Every time I typed in support here nothing happened so I kept trying.

Thanks! Sorry …been too busy this week, but will do this today. Do you know when the update is coming. And yes, I do use a custom post type.

I have the same problem. Power Press shows up in my iTunes and Google Play, even though I have had my own picture up for ages.

Are you saying that the next update will take care of this? OR??
