In reply to: [Event Rocket] List shortcode isn't displaying categoriesAhh, there’s the problem, I’m not using pro. I read through the TEC docs a dozen times, I guess I missed that that’s a pro-only feature!
I might be able to reformat a bit to make something similar work using the [event_embed]. Thanks for the help!

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Add class to submit button?Ah, that did it! I just had to remove the “display:block” from .pbSubmit in the plugin’s css and it worked great.
Thank you so much!

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Add class to submit button? An alternative solution for me to use would be to add a page break before the total, and require the user to click submit before seeing their total. Can I add functionality to the submit button so it will also take the user to the next page?

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Add class to submit button?Hi, thank you for the quick reply!
I’m using a bit of Javascript to keep the total hidden until the user clicks a “calculate” button, at which time all fields with the “total” class will appear.
I would like the “submit” button to appear at the same time as the total, so if they want to submit their total and get in touch further they can send us an email.
I tried adding display:none to the pbSubmit class, but it remains display:none because there is no other display style to override once the button is clicked. So, I really need to add an extra class to the “submit” button, rather than editing the current one. Any way to do this?
Thanks!

In reply to: [ImageMapper] Map sometimes displays as thumbnailUpdate: if it helps, I’ve disabled and reenabled all other plugins and the problem persisted.
Also, in thumbnail form the map actually is clickable, the hotspots just got so small I didn’t realize at first.
Thanks!

In reply to: [IvyCat AJAX Testimonials] Shortcode attributes not workingHi Patrick,
Thanks for the reply! I’ve just set up my page to show all testimonials on one page until that bug gets resolved.
As far as my configuration, here are the details:
Wordpress v3.9.2
IvyCat testimonials v1.4.2
Wordpress theme: Dandelion v3.0.0
Other active plugins:
Disable Comments v1.1
Google Maps Ready! v1.1.3
Ninja Forms v2.7.6
Pexeto’s Latest Posts Loader v1.0
Photo Gallery v1.1.29I was able to get around the second issue by customizing the template, but just for your reference for bug-checking I already had pretty permalinks turned on.
Thanks!

In reply to: [IvyCat AJAX Testimonials] Shortcode attributes not workingUpdate: worked around the first problem by customizing the testimonials-loop-template.php file; still looking for help on the second issue.
Finally figured this out myself, posting the solution for anyone else who may need it:
Go into your phpMyAdmin and search for “administrator” in the wp_usermeta table. This will help you find the user roles row.
Once you find that role, open it up to edit it.
Delete all the text that’s currently there and replace it with the code given on this site: https://wp-relief.com/2011/12/01/user-roles-in-the-wordpress-database/
This will restore all your user roles to default settings. So glad to finally have this fixed.
Update on my situation:
AAM is uninstalled. Went in on the ftp and deleted the folder. However, I (as the super admin) am still restricted from viewing certain pages. One of those pages is the plugins page. It doesn’t show in the plugin drop down menu, but if I go to the page /wp-admin/plugins it brings me to “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
One of my other plugins, WordPress Business Directory, has one admin bar section for all its settings/admin and another admin bar section for its listings. I can access the listings area fine, but if I hover over the settings section, on hover a blank box appears with none of the submenu categories.
I’m currently using a theme called BlankSlate (a separate developer built this site originally) with no option to switch to a default WordPress theme.
I really just need to know how to completely remove AAM and all its traces so it will stop blocking me from these pages. As I mentioned above, trying a different role editing plugin will not work because I can’t activate any plugins.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated,
ThanksHello,
I went ahead and installed User Role Editor, but I cannot access the page to activate the plugin. It tells me the plugin was successfully installed, but instead of giving the option to activate like usual it sends me back to the plugin installer. Is there another way to regain access?
Thanks
Yep, that did it! Thanks so much for your fast reply!
