Four chimps were harmed in the posting of this rant. I deleted every single freaking Mailchimp list. I’m over it. Done. GOING BANANAS!!! I have 50 clients and more in the que, all asking about Popup. HANDS DOWN the answer is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I’m trying pippity. Or maybe I’ll hire someone to design something BETTER. Shouldn’t be hard to do when what’s out there is so bad. In the meantime, I’m going off to mix up a BANANA DAIQUIRI and throw coconuts at something. Want to join me? Might as well. Popup’s popularity is falling faster than a sleeveless dress on prom night….

1 1/2 oz light rum
1 tbsp triple sec
1 banana
1 1/2 oz lime juice
1 tsp sugar
1 cherry

Combine all ingredients (except for the cherry) with 1 cup crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend at a low speed for five seconds, then blend at a high speed until firm. Pour contents into a champagne flute, top with the cherry, and serve.

I got the email and name to pop up in the boxes finally! But (1) it either takes the name and email when the popup is filled out and sends them into cyber space, or when I put the MC url in the box below that it directs the reader to ANOTHER FORM they have to fill out! So lame. So lame.

I wish I drank. This would be a good time to have several. Maybe I’ll start.

I’m trying again. I sent FOUR MORE emails to Popup and only got back ONE email trying to sell me something else that probably won’t work either. Most likely an Aweber autoresponder. I marked it as spam. Losers. I am so angry at myself for falling for this “it’s so easy” BS about Popup Domination. It is NOT easy. And they do not offer any help, no customer service (easy to do when you’re a genius teenager with no need to keep people happy I guess) and no tutorials… And Mail Chimp should offer us free bananas to stuff in our eyes after screwing around with this too….they are no more helpful than PU!!!! THANK YOU for taking the time to answer and to try to help. That’s all I’ve wanted!!

Janet, what a freaking NIGHTMARE!!! I have to switch out of PU and into some other part of my dashboard EVERY time I make ONE change….or it freezes up.

I WISH that whoever wrote this program would come up with a SIMPLE plug and play way to integrate Mail Chimp’s code with this. I’ve been messing with this for four hours and have a friend working on it too and neither of us can get it to work. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE – someone just POST the code here with your personal MC stuff changed or something….I’m going nuts!! Popup hasn’t returned an email all week. They sent out ONE that said, ‘How are we doing??” and I replied, “NOT so good…” aaaaaaaagghghaghaghahahahghgaaaaaa!!

I have Popup Domination AND Mail Chimp and cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. Can someone just post the code so we can see what it looks like? Mail Chimp is useless and so is Popup for telling us how to configure this although BOTH sites say they play well with each other – N O T!!!! Aggravating and annoying….
