I don’t know if this happened to anyone else, but my setup wasn’t redirecting from my http to my https site until I added the URL as an addon domain in my host’s domain manager. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out this issue, so I wanted to post it here in case anyone runs into the same problem. I’m having the same issue – I have set the following opions in DM settings (tick):
– Permanent redirect (better for your blogger’s pagerank)
– User domain mapping page

And all other setting unchecked as you recommended in the setup tutorial. I don’t see any option matching your comment above:

“Change the DM settings so that the dashboard of the site runs under the mapped domain.”

Please help!

I’m thinking of switching to a multisite and I was looking into this plugin for that reason, but you’re saying that this is irrelevant now? Is that from a recent WP update because obviously a lot of people still use it, so I’m a little confused.

I’ve confirmed that the data I need is in another table generated by the plugin (called ‘gdlrpayment’), so is there any way I could pull that info into AMR Users or will I have to find another way to do that?

Ah okay that makes total sense – I completely understand why you would want to exclude those! ??

1) Yes I’ve done this step.
2) Some of the user info from that plugin has come through, so I’m guessing that the info that didn’t come through (what I actually need) is not in the WP database user meta table… I honestly don’t know how to check. The plugin itself sorts users into lists based on the data I’m looking for though, so they have to store that data somewhere, right?

Sorry–I was a bit unclear with my description. Actually, I’m not talking about the thumbnails in the media library at all, but in the Posts. I have an alternative set of post types which is my Portfolio. I need to set the featured image for a ton of different portfolio posts, so I was hoping to find an easier/faster way of doing this than going through each one manually. Does that make more sense?
