Seems I got the answer myself: the Google API doesn’t support formal/informal language, only DeepL and this is a premium feature.
Thanks for your reply @dannycooper,
first of all: I appreciate, that you took the time to create the plugin and contribute to the community.
And I’d like to elaborate on my decision.
A review doesn’t measure how the promises comply to the product only, but also the features. So if I’d would measure the features only, it’s even 1 star only.I was expecting to get some settings, and more functionality etc.
Because just removing the Google Fonts doesn’t make any sense to me.
1) Either you don’t use them and use your own fonts. In this case you don’t need the plugin.
2) Or you use Google Fonts and after activating the plugin your website looks ugly. Both cases don’t make sense to me.
So it’s an emergency solution imo.
But it’s NOT advertised as that. Therefore 3 stars felt appropriate to me…If you’d make it clear, that this plugin just removes the fonts, NOTHING ELSE (and there are no settings – which could also be a USP), I’d have known what I can expect (and I wouldn’t have tried the plugin).
I hope you understand it now better
Take this as a motivation to improve and enhance the plugin OR to change the description ??
Cheers
BernieAwesome, great support, thank you!
I have corrected it to 4 stars now.
I also didn’t find in your documentation anything covering this topic. So I think (compared to the other solution), the setup could be improved.Nevertheless: keep up your good work!
Ok, finally I got it working with the shortcode version. One article was uncategorized and the other private. That seems to be the reason why there showed up nothing.
Maybe you can add articles that are uncategorized in a aut-generated category or is it by intention that uncategorized docs are hidden?
Or show the user a hint if he has articles, but no one of them is categorized!?The automated generation still doesn’t work for me.

If you like, I can give you access to the WP installation. Just tell me an e-mail address where to send a login to…

I have also tried adding the shortcode “[betterdocs_category_box column=”3″]” to a new page. That doesn’t work either.
I would like to try to reset the BetterDocs installation. Is there any opportunity to do that?I have done that as well before writing the review.
Here again a video (which was done now, not initially). I created another page and assigned this to BetterDocs…no success…I haven’t installed another KB plugin when I installed BetterDocs (I instaled the other one later).
And I did the same process as you did. The docs page wasn’t created…But I have some other plugins. I deactivated all of them and went through the wizard again. But still the same. And the shortcode doesn’t work…
Here’s my screencast:

Deactivating the plugin and reactivating recovers the old settings and lands directly on the “Finish” page of the wizard…
Even uninstalling didn’t delete the old settings and there’s also no switch within the plugin asking, if the plugin data should be deleted when deactivating the plugin. How can I delete the settings and start over from scratch?
Maybe something happened during the installation process…Thanks for your fast reply!
Of course, if it works, I will correct my review. As said, fresh WP install.
Activated plugin.
The docs page isn’t generated! After doing the installation wizard there hasn’t been a docs page under pages.
I have tried another knowledge base plugin now which worked out of the box…I also did the database update now. No change.
I have to add that we’re using WordPress 4.9.9…maybe this helps in finding a solution!?Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I did now the following things:
– Activated PHP 7.0 (was 5.5)
– Reseted timezones as described above (but didn’t do the database upgrade)
– Installed Safe Mode plugin, activated the events plugin in safe-mode-loader.php and loaded events overview in safe mode -> same thing, just 1 event showing up.Are there more hints? Can I do the database upgrade with no risk?
Just wrote you an e-mail, thanks for your help!
By the way, I forgot to mention: the site is running on a WordPress network site…Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Reduce stock of manual orders for WooCommerce] Not as expected…@claudiosanchez – thanks for your reply.
Yes, but as described in other threads (see above), this makes it useless as every order that comes NOT from the backend reduces the stock twice! So the stock is never true…
Is there no solution to prevent that?
In addition on every change of the order status the stock gets reduced. Did you try it for yourself? If you do, you’ll see it immediately…
Thanks again for your work.Hi, Visual Composer was the old name, it’s caled now “WP Bakery WP Builder”. It’s a VERY popular builder that’s delivered with 80% of themes you can buy.
So basically it’s a extra plugin, but it’s very popular…
