I am also getting this error. It happened after I updated 2 plugins for a related themes so that’s causing the error. Darn. Now, I’m looked out of pages, posts, plugins, etc so I’ll follow your instructions.

I can delete the theme but the changes are in the database. It really is a good idea to use Darwin Backup plugin even for theme-related addons.

That’s why I asked for your help but you’re not offering any suggestions at all. If I knew what was blocking the page I would have fixed it already.

The Settings page isn’t viewable at all so I’m unable to even delete the ad block. I went to activate the new widget but the Ad Inserter code isn’t available. https://tinypic.com/r/14v7o7s/9

My only choice is to delete your plugin but if I reinstall it I’ll only get same “page blocked” because the data is in the database.

Hi Igor,

The theme author created a plugin so I can add a widget for Ad Inserter. This means that I can display ads “before content” or “before post”. I activated the newly created plugin and then I clicked on Ad Inserter settings and I saw the following message:

PAGE BLOCKED
This page was not loaded properly. Please check browser and plugins that may block CSS/javascript
files for this page. For Ad Blocker select “Disable on this page” or “Don’t run on this page”

I also did a Google search of this “page blocked” and your plugin is the only result that came up. Could you help me fix this problem?

I truly appreciate your quick response. Now that I know that this plugin doesn’t work on this theme’s homepage, I will manually add code to the child theme.

Did you clear the browser cache? The developer is AWOL.
