Thank you very much, and I have asked Yahoo repeatedly what they did. I get the runaround, they tell me “not to worry,” and that it will all work out. I’m not sure they know what they did.
Yes, the existing WP site is the website they created for me from a former Yahoo Site Solution site that Yahoo said they were soon no longer going to support.

And yes, unfortunately I have been feeling the pain with Yahoo Small Business for web hosting. Problem is, I had so much set up with them since 2010 (email accounts for my books out in many, many places), that is was going to be very hard to switch. Lesson learned.

Thank you, but no, the blog was set up on www.ads-software.com.

In case this helps anyone else, I saw in a different forum to install the Classic Editor Plugin and try again. So I did, and activated it, and it worked! What a relief.

I have WordPress 5.0.3 installed, and can’t update my blog posts. I’ve tried different browsers: Edge, Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. I deactivated all my plugins and tried. No joy. I reactivated them. I’ve called the web hosting platform, and they say it is a WordPress problem. I don’t have W3. I’m using Classic Editor (or trying to.) Help.
