I believe my plug-in was Fold page list (https://www.webspaceworks.com/resources/wordpress/30/). It was what I had been using previously to manage menus, so both wouldn’t normally be running together.
I have that option just below “Page Attributes.” Although I didn’t have to enable it, it’s selectable via “Screen Options.”
I got something to that effect, too. It was because I had a similar auto-generating plugin already activated.
What I’ve done:
Create a folder in Google Earth Places and drop your KML or KMZ files in there. Save the Place folder as a KML or KMZ and upload. In the plug-in, refer to the places folder as the KML/KMZ file and all sub-paths will show.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] [Plugin: Broken Link Checker] Timeouts on good links?I noticed that between my local Windows-based installation and my host a difference is that cURL isn’t installed locally.
After about 5 hours of trying to get it installed following irrelevant and obsolete instructions on the net, I (ahem, properly) uninstalled PHP and replaced it with https://windows.php.net/downloads/releases/php-5.2.14-Win32-VC6-x86.msi, selecting the cURL extension.
It’s working well. Thanks for your help, and for the plug-in!

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] [Plugin: Broken Link Checker] Timeouts on good links? No idea what happened. My hosts file looks okay.
I uploaded the plug-in to the production server and it works perfectly. The production server WP database is essentially a dump from the development setup.
My question about “fully-formed” URLs was because I don’t specify domain in my internal links, so they look like href=”\index.php\webpage\”.
