but they are not multiple topics for the same thing.

I hv two websites, both are using WordPress. And both website had similar problem.
yes they both had scanned malicious files, but they both hv different malicious files scanned.

So i was actually trying to find out
1. if they are save or not.
2. If those files were created by the theme, plugin by purposed or by hacker.
3. If i can delete those files without effecting my website functions.

I had been so busy at work, just got sometime to look into the article and try.

It’s the second issue “Your Theme may be causing the problem”， because the white screen of death after i have just update the Theme. The link is asking me to access your website via FTP and navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ folder. Rename the folder for the active Theme.
But i cannot understand what i have to rename the folder as? And how can u bring everything back?

why the plugins had been named as plugins-old after i click update?

i also hv no idea how can i access the ftp

so i will lost all my plugin? How can i bring everything back to the point before the update?

What happen was that i tried to change a few thing of the plugin, but it doesnt allow me to change, and keep asking me to update, well….when i just simple follow the instruction to update, it become like that noe T.T

the problem is the whole administration screen is all blank as well.

Very frustrated. Why it ask me to update, and everything is blank after update. Weird
