    Okay. here’s what happened.
I was able to regain access thru FTP/ cPanel access to my host’s servers, access the plugins folder and rename it ‘plugins.deactivate’.
Now, very important for anyone following this- you will need to also delete ‘advanced cache.php’ as well in order to make this work.

Here are some tips for future. Always write down password and username changes AND what theme you are using. I found I was trusting my laptop to automatically save passwords to everything (it doesn’t) and as far as themes, I had a package of 29 and I simply chose my theme based on how it looked without retaining what the name of it was!

LumberHack, thanks again for taking the time to reply! Very appreciated!

Thanks!! I will try those options and report back!

    I’m following…
To be clear, this is the post or page that would be your initial ‘sell’ page; the page/post with the digital product listed
    Or
would this be the page (ie the thank you page) that the customer is redirected to after the transaction?
and finally, wherever this code is, the WP Paypal plugin will find it and include it in the email sent to the customer?

Sorry, I’m a newbie of sorts with advanced WP functions. Thanks for your patience with these questions. This is the first obstacle I’ve come across in using WP.

Thanks Justin. My question now is, where exactly do I put that?
The video in the link I’ve watched 6 times but I’m still uncertain as to where I put that.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve exhausted myself for two days now looking for two simple actions-
    1. where do I put the digital download url (where my ebook is parked on my site) in WP PayPal Shopping cart options

    OR
where do i put the product url in the body of the email?

It seems this email process is more complicated than it should be. This should have taken 5 minutes to do.
It seems easier to put the url in the Thank You page the buyer is redirected to.
Can anyone with practical experience in this show me where i’m not getting this right?
    Thanks in advance.
