You need one server that has MySQL installed – grab the ip address of this machine and put it into the wp-config.php like mrmist said, install your file directory in the other.

The hardest part here is setting up the servers..not the wordpress installation.

This happened to me one time while i was at bluehost..i contacted support and they told me someone hacked my htaccess files…i left bluehost the next day.

You have widgets in the sidebar, and the sidebar on the new theme wasnt configured for widgets, I have had this happen before toooo

What is in the htaccess files…?

Make sure your permalink structure for wordpress includes the folder it lives in

ie … /mtec/%postname%

Make sure that your homepage and blog page in wordpress is set to https://www.musictalksedu.net/mtec

Ive used drupal and wordpress on the same domain before, there shouldnt be htaccess issues – in your case drupals htaccess should be in the root and wordpresses in the folder mtec – they wont conflict

You can always edit the source of themes by going to Appearance – Editor and selecting the appropriate template or style sheet.

I would access the database directly via phpmyadmin or navicat..export the comments table, re install a fresh version of wordpress and then import the comments table into the new database.

The php memory limit is actually the cause 90% of the time here..did you make sure all your plugins were disabled when making the update?

Change your permalink structure to %postname%. It will create a permalink like https://www.anchorwave.com/contact-us if you name your page Contact Us

You will have to edit the theme template files, are you able to edit to css/html?

Bluehost is good for small sites, I prefer using rackspace or media temple for commercial sites.
