I actually found the problem, it’s very simple… I hade the wrong quotation marks around the id for the file. download_id=”XXXX” insted of download_id=”XXXX”

After changing this, perfect!

Some users have reported that upgrading to PHP 5.6 was the solution, however I tried that as well by downgrading from 7.0 to 5.6, without any success!

Still hoping fo a solution ??

Good for you wadegibson, I downgraded from PHP 7.0 to 5.6 jst to check… but still not working for me.

With the last updates I am getting the link visible, however the link does not lead to a file… just opens a window and then nothing happens.

Ok,

So I found the problem and the form shows, however… after pressing the download button it takes some 20 sec then the green message from Contact Form 7 shows and below a tiny button with no text… when I click that button, nothing happens.

I got everythin updated:

Contact Form 7: 4.9.2
Download Monitor: 4.0.1
EMD: 5.0.4

I get this error:
