I finally found in a PHP file where it is being added and commented out that line of PHP. Now it no longer shows! Your clues were helping me for certain, thanks again.

Yes, I saw all of those things in Appearance > Menus.

There is a field for Title Attribute but it is blank in all of them.

The Navigation Label is somehow being output to become the Title Attribute in the HTML <a> tag. This is what I need changed.

So even though the title attribute is blank in Appearance > Menus it still generates one!

I researched this and found that the plugin No Title Tooltips removed them.

This plugin removed the tooltips (title=”” attribute) in the primary menu items but it also caused a conflict with being able to login to the admin panel so I removed the plugin.

Isn’t there a way to remove the title=”” attribute from the primary menu links???

I am having the same experience with WP 3.5.1 and BP 1.7.1.

I emailed the Developer asking if he is going to update the plugin.

I hope there is more incentive or motivation to do so now that BP made big and important changes with 1.7 release.

I have BP 1.7.1 and WP 3.5.1 and it doesn’t work. Does anyone have it working with these versions? Is the fix above making it work?

I’ve been able to pinpoint that Yoast SEO plugin is also the source of causing my Posts Admin area to break. It doesn’t cause any other area of the Dashboard Admin to break. I can still admin the Posts but the Title column, for example, its width has collapsed, so the links still work as do the other columns, but their widths have collapsed, are broken. What is the point of including a link to my site when it is my Dashboard? This is happening to all of the WP sites that I manage where I have installed Yoast SEO plugin. I have verified this with each one. It was happening with v1.2.8.3 and now is still happening with v1.2.8.4
