Yes, uncropped is fine. I now have the thumbnail width set to 170px. I can resize all of the vertical products so they have the same height and width but how do I bottom justify the horizontal ones so they take up the same vertical space as the vertical invitations, like here – https://www.minted.com/wedding-invitations

Ah that would be pretty complicated. That would be a great plugin to develop…
I had considered what you suggested but the client wants the ability to change the text easier than making it part of the graphic.

Basically you think the only suggestion that makes sense is to have the text at the top be static and not change based on the image (but make it customizable, like I did with the other text)?

Right now by making a product out of stock it gives you a label of “out of stock” but I need more control than that.
1. change the text of out of stock
2. have the ability that if I have a variable and only one is out of the stock it doesnt say out of stock, it says something else so people will still click to purchase the other variable

is there a hook that I can use or a plugin perhaps that would give me the control over this functionality?

Woo Custom Stock Status is a plugin that lets you add new status’s but only for simple products. but it doesn’t work for variable products AND simple products

That is sort of what I meant. I am going more for the label over the image itself. There are a few different labels that the client wants, but it seems the most important is to have a sold out label. I found how to do it with a simple product but not a variable product where one is available and the other is sold out.

grouped product, thats probably best. just have to make it simple so they can log in themselves and add thier own products themselves. Also. what would you use to create the digital product? a plugin or just the regular built in woocommerce method

Thanks so much. I found i could do what I needed from the regular coupon controls in woo commerce by just setting the upper and lower quantity limit and setting a flat fee. in addition I just added in a plugin that allows the coupons to be automatic discounts at check out if they are within those numbers….rather than having to put the codes.

Yes The product vendor plug in looks great. maybe a bit more powerful than what I need. I do not have a need for comissions at this point though. Also i need them to have access to update their page/posts on the site, not part of Woocommerce. is that something this can do also?
