Thanks andrew, that fixed it. Do you know how i can get rid of or reduce the padding or margin thats keeping the logo from being closer to the left edge of the page?

I basically just need to know how to display that banner across the top of my page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the top banner area not 1000px?

I’m a bit confused as to what size i need to be saving my image as and instructing it to display as. It also appears to have a padding to the left?!

Ok, yes i did change the theme. Sorry for using the forum incorrectly and thanks for your response.

Oh ok, i was told that the pinboard theme essentially has a built in child theme that you can work with. It’s in the theme option>layout>custom css area that ive been adding my own css too. Ive also been led to believe that if i am to update the theme this custom css will be be deleted. Can i not customise the footer through this.

I don’t actually have access to the original wordpress files according to my service provider ‘pickaweb’ as they were uploaded by them when i used the ‘one click wordpress upload’. Basically i can’t view the wordpress files local to my computer, only the code can be viewed through wordpress in a browser.

Hi, yeah I have a child them that I’ve been using quite a bit already. Just not sure what code to use to have something like ‘site built and designed by benn.h design’ with the Benn.h design part of the text as a link to the designer website.

Id like to keep the green bar thats already being used in the footer, but for this to be running on top of the image too.

The reposition has also caused the slider to sit on top of the content below. Any idea on how to fix that too?

Ive noticed someone else whos been using wordpress has been able to achieve what i’m trying to do, heres there site https://www.off-limits.eu/#

They have the front page showing widgets but every other page is free of them.

Can anyone help me do the same?!!

Ive temporarily removed widgets whilst i build the rest of the site but if someone is able to help i can add then in again.

The widget side bar also seems to be a little too far left, ive tried out some css code to change this but had no luck.
