In reply to: [WooCommerce] 'No payment methods' warning since updating to 2.5.2Thanks, I already tried setting customer location to shop base. That didn’t do it.
How does/can a payment method have a country requirement? Where is the setting for that?
Hi Rolf,
Thanks for this.
Best,
DavidProblem solved. I went in and clicked on ‘update’ – I didn’t make any edits; just clicked update.
Haha – found this theme today and assumed it was my error. The last place I looked was here on the forum.
I changed the content-archive file and all is good.
Thank you.
Hi Phil,
Perfect. Many thanks.

In reply to: [Superhero] Blockquote indents text, but doesn't show italicsI didn’t mean there should be a standard way of handling blockquotes, and I know that different themes handle them differently.
What I meant was that this theme doesn’t seem to handle them the way that its stylesheet suggests it does.
This is what the stylesheet says:
.format-quote blockquote { color: #1e4a66; font-size: 1.6em; font-style: italic; line-height: 1.6em; }
I am not a coder, so apologies in advance if I have misunderstood how this should work.

In reply to: [Clean Retina] Confused about sliderRabin,
“- Remember that each post whose post id you are using for slider must have featured image minimum of size 962*390”
That explains it.
Thanks – my images are mostly at 600*

In reply to: [Clean Retina] Confused about sliderCan’t get it to cycle the slider, so I abandoned it. When I had it set up, it showed the three ‘dots’ to indicate that the other two featured images were there, but it stayed on the first image and wouldn’t cycle.
Also, the slider image was in the same proportion as the image in the post (aspect ratio 3:2), so the featured image only occupied the left-hand two thirds of the space. Is there a way to change this?
I will happily go back and try again, if you can give some pointers.
Jon,
I am getting a problem – which is that in the latest post on https://www.photographworks.com the wording in the Call to Action Box stays the same although I changed the wording in the Call to Action Box Text in the back end.The wording has changed for all the other posts, but not for the latest post.
I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling but it is picking up the info from the database and so still has the problem.
In which table is the info stored in the database?

In reply to: Twitter Tools tweeting ALL blog posts every nightDoes this help?
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/faq/
“Can I remove the ‘New Blog Post:’ prefix entirely?
No, this is not a good idea. Twitter Tools needs to be able to look at the beginning of the tweet and identify if it’s a notification from your blog or not. Otherwise, Twitter Tools and Twitter could keep passing the blog posts and resulting tweets back and forth resulting in the ‘spinning fireball of death’ mentioned above.”Forum: Installing WordPress
