Clearing the wpaccess options from the options table seems to have done the trick on my xampp site. Before I clear these on the live site what are these options.

Also noticed that activating the AAM also disables the super admin ability.

it was an ruid2 issue that just needed refreshing.

Ok I will check it out with them. They have a one click wordpress install so i would have thought it would be ok at their end and during an earlier switch over the background was fine but I had other issues so I reinstalled again. The earlier issue was the permalink not being ticked to default, but I only found that out after I reinsatlled.
