Agree with Authentico, this invasive advert was deployed terribly. I understand you wish to promote your new features, and indeed the new feature looks interesting and useful when you enable functionality for the Mobile App to handle multiple domains. That said you destroyed confidence in your Plugin with the ill advised rollout of the undismissable advert, and the fact it was appearing everywhere. We were even seeing this appear above our MainWP Dashboard.

We were also so frustrated by the tone, quality and delivery of the advert that we began searching for a new SMTP plugin. I’m pleased you have patched the issue but even that wasn’t immediately apparent as I’d given up dismissing the advert knowing it was pointless in the initial release.

Many of us are happy to support plugin developers and appreciate your hard work over many years, so please consider how you promote new developments in future. Might I suggest if you are looking to raise a good level of capital quickly that you think about offering a lifetime deal either directly or through someone like AppSumo. I’m sure plenty of us would be interested in that sort of offer even if it only goes out for a limted period of time.

If you look at the Astra Theme as a prime example, they have by way of offering a lifetime deal very early on in their rollout been able to raise plenty of Capital early on – allowing them to grow and improve their products and focus on quality – rocketing them to the number one Theme in existence.

I’m seeing exactly the same, along with a host of other issues with Spectra One and Spectra Pro. Honestly having dived into this new release full of optimism I’m coming away feeling like it’s barely Beta Software.

I ended up having to manually convert on our old hosting before migrating away to the newer host. It just seems to have been one of those issues that hadn’t garnered much attention from many users unless you were doing specific things with your database.

I’ve just encountered this issue when trying to migrate from and Older Host to Newer host. The increment in MariaDB to 10.6.x throws a spanner in the works by disallowing ut8. Really hope you can get an update out to patch this as the manual method suggested above isn’t working for our case.

Duplicator Error thrown in import:-

The database where the package was created has a character set and collation that is not supported on this server. This issue happens when a site is moved from an newer version of MySQL to a older version of MySQL. The recommended fix is to update MySQL on this server to support the character set that is failing below. If this is not an option for your host, then you can continue the installation. I’m having Thumbnail Generation alert too, test error message is:-
