Can you modify the plugin to take a random picture from the library instead?

I’m looking for this function as well and have tried loads of plugins with Random Post Thumbnail being the closest https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/random-post-thumbnail

But you have to manually push a button to attach featured images to old post, it does not automatically do this for new posts.

Now if someone could modify the code we might have a winner here.
