In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Event Date not appearing in titleThis seems to be fixed with the latest update to 2.0.5.
Thanks a lot!
I can confirm, that I get the same results when I use the GCE-Widget:
After the latest update 2.0.4, when I limit the number of events to a certain number of days, the last event (which should not be displayed at all) only shows the date but no event.
And I have to correct:
This also happens with the shortcode in a page. The number of events is displayed correctly, when I limit the number of events to a certain number of events, but then I only see the events without the date.
This second problem is discussed here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/event-date-not-appearing-in-title?replies=4#post-6095474
That is exactly what I experience, can you maybe confirm what I have found here:
The dates are all normal single-day – none of them reaches near 12pm and none is an all-day event.
And this behaviour did not show in the “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” with any former version of the GCE-PLugin.It seems – that I am not the only person experiencing this behaviour:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/date-showing-on-bottom-with-no-event?replies=4#post-6094440I have found the following:
Im am not using your widget but I display the feed in the “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” with the shortcode and it only happens there.
It works fine when I put the shortcode into a page.I have found out that this is an option to set the focus on the event and not on the date.
You can add the shortcode [startdate] in the event-builder to display the date below the event.
Like this:Event 1
dateEvent 2
dateFeed 1:
shortcode is: [gcal id=”6208″ interval=”days” interval_count=”2″ ]
setting is: Number of Events per Page – 2 daysFeed 2:
shortcode: [gcal id=”6209″]
setting is: Number of Events per Page – 7 daysSame effect in both feeds.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Event Date not appearing in titleProbably the “Number of Events per Page” is set to “events” and not to “days”
Add [startdate] in the eventbuilder and it will show the date below the event-title.I can confirm this. When I set “interval” to “events” the events listed are displayed without the date titles.
This seems to be working right now.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] OffsetWhat you seem to have done in 2.0.4 is replacing “Retrieve Events From” with “Start Date Offset” in number of days.
This does not really help in my case, as I need an offset of a few hours and not days.
as I explained here:
“What it should do in my case is show tommorrow’s events let’s say 8 hours early.
Example: I have a calender-list showing only 1 event (the daily menu of our cafeteria) as the cafeteria closes at 2pm, today’s menu is no longer interesting after that, but people may want to see what is on the menu tomorrow, so I want to show tomorrow’s menu starting from e.g. 3pm today. That is what I could do with the offset in the old plugin.”Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Background color1. there is a typo in you code:
backgroung2. The feeds have new ids after the update.
On my page
.gce-feed-6449 {background: grey;}
works.I have moved 1./ 2./ 3. from above to the following threads:
