This is indeed highly interesting, because if I put an uncompressed file there for testing purposes, it will also be downcompressed to this quality, and as you say as JPEG, not WebP.

To check this, I have now deactivated your plugin and loaded an image with higher resolution at this point. Cleared all caches (browser, WP Rockt and the forum’s own cache system) – and again I find the image reduced to 12 KB, and pixelated.

WPForo is a board plugin. It is inserted as a shortcode in a WordPress-page. It has an own caching-system. We are runnig it for years, it is a fine piece of software.

If I now put a certain image o a forum page, like in the sidebar or the head section etc., it is strongly pixelated since a while. If I put the same image on a page outside the board, it looks totally normal. For test reasons, I put a image with 840 KB (that size for testreasons) in the head on the board, the file size is reduced to 10 or 11 KB, an the image is pixelated.

There had been some updates by Converter for Media and WPForo in the last weeks, but I can’t pin the occurrence of the problem to a specific date. However, it is definitely new.

we have a similar problem on https://www.alkohol-ade.com/test, apparently since the last update (the page is rarely used). When you fill in the question and submit it, the page jumps back to the beginning – but the first question is gone. All questions are mandatory, I have the suspicion that the plugin wants to claim the no longer shown question as “not answered” and the user of course can not enter that because he does not see it.

If one then sends the questionnaire then again, the second question also disappears and the questionnaire starts with the third question.

We do not use WP-Optimize Minify, but work with WP Rocket and Asset CleanUp Pro. Similar problem maybe?

After months of working like a charm, we now get the message

Error in server configuration

Your access token is invalid or your subscription has expired. Check the entered value and try to activate it again.

We did not change anthing, and the booking/renewal of the subscription was end of December.

Yessss … so I’ll make a screenshot from some pictures on out site, that had working Links in 5.8x, and now do not work, because there is no longer any link on it. What difference will you spot? Now, seriously …

In backend all these pictures have lost the links that they had before – nothing to show as well, only a picture in backend without a link, that’s all.

Please be more specific what you want me to photograph.

Same problem on our site. If I cannot find a solution for this, I have definitely to delete the free version instead of going Pro.
