I have the same problem after the latest update.

UPDATE
I have discovered that the problem, in my case was caused by the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget plugin. Disabling the plugin has resolved the issue for me.

2.5.2 is broken for me too.
I can also confirm that downgrading to 2.4.7 fixes the problem.

I found the solution. Basically you need to delete the categories (in the categories section of dashboard) which are not showing up in the drop down menu and then re-create them.

I have the same problem.
I have 5 categories too. When I am logged in I am able to see all 5 categories in the drop down menu. When I log out and visit my site I can only see 1 of the 5 categories.

I am also using the latest versions of woocommerce with the wootique theme.

Can anyone help?
