    PIC#2

I keep encountering this error.I’m able to log into my page but when I press certain thing I encounter the error. My website looks normal and other things.I disabled plugins and themes. Not sure what it is.But I think best bet would be to reset everything.I didn’t have to much work on my website so I don’t mind. But would have to really liked to fix the issue incase this ever happens in the future.I can see my site health but when trying to press save on permalink and do other things I encounter the Internal error. If anybody has thoughts or advice that would be great?

Do I delete only wordpress file ?Or do I need to delete wordpress and Mamp together.

Thank you very much and appreciate your help.I seemed to have fix the problem some how.

Last question,I currently only run 1 website and wanted to know if I can run more then 1 website on Mamp. Can I have 2 websites on the same Mamp server? How is it done ?I didn’t find too much information on it.I probably won’t do anything because this how I encounter my errors in the first place and was a headache.

I fixed it not sure which it was but finally.

    Solution:

    1. https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/htaccess/

Changed the htaccess file on WordPress to “Multisite WordPress 3.5 and up

2.I was running Mamp with a different port numbers which allowed me to run mamp at first and when Mamp was running I pressed the default port button in the middle of the running Mamp.I guess it might only run with my original port numbers for a reason.

I’m a complete beginner when it come to these files and database knowledge.

Can you refer me of what you mean by “Which database is each installation running”?

[I don’t know how to reset? Can you explain the process? “if you didn’t reset the the wp-config?“]

I’m really sorry as I’m a beginner when it comes to the files inside Mamp and WordPress files unless it the website version. As I never had to deal with problems before.

I very much appreciate your help.

If you see “pic#4” you can see that the document root is selected to a WordPress duplicate file I called “WordPress copy”.So the problem came when I duplicated the WordPress file in htdocs and then when I tried to run it again it would not work for the original WordPress website or WordPress copy.I didn’t think that making a duplicate file of the “original WordPress file” would make any difference. But after just duplicating the file I could’t do anything as I started to encounter Errors. My document root is set to “pic#4”?My “WordPress (e.g. wp-admin, wp-content, wp-includes, wp-config.php etc. is in the “Mamp>htdocs>wordpresscopy”.

I’m not sure how Mamp works but would the server or something change just by making a copy duplicate “WordPress installation file ” ?The question is what changed after making a small little copy?
