Yes, that does make sense. I got nervous about placing a script on my own, and Google’s AdSense instructions say you can either place on your own or use a plugin. So at this stage, would I deactivate the Advanced Ads plug in and then repaste the script myself? The instructions say to “Paste it into the HTML of https://betterbrained.com, between the <head> and </head> tags”. I am not sure where to go in the WordPress site to do this.
