Yes, I saw them there but I was wondering if I was correct on the pricing structure? ?? Thanks!

Am I understanding your site correctly in that for $29.99 I can buy just this plugin or for $59.99 I have access to all your plugins for download for 1 year?

Thanks, anmari! I’m not that good with css but will take a look ??

Hey anmari! I saw your new release… very cool on what I saw upcoming ??

For your list https://directories.wpusersplugin.com/memberdetails/ do I have to modify something in order to do 2 columns like that? I looked in the settings and tried a few different things but didn’t get it to look like your list. I selected “simple” for “Public HTML Type” and it did stack the fields but put the avatar way to the right and stacked the fields on the left all in one column the width of the blog. Am I missing a setting or is this require some custom modifying? Thanks!

Excellent! Sounds good and thanks for the tips. I’ll check them out!

    Excellent!

Just an idea for you… I’ve been playing around with the plugin “Leaflet Maps Marker (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps)” which is very nice! However, as with all the other ones, it doesn’t interface with any of the user registration data. I looked at the MySQL tables for this plugin. Here is my idea… add an additional layer called “users” or whatever to the layers table that would “copy” the necessary info from an existing layer but just call it “users” instead. Then, append or add to or however you would work your magic, to the markers table. This table has IDs that increase by one and are unique for each address/marker. It has an address field and a couple description fields. Take the selected data out of the users profile and add it to this markers table. Doing this would require the install of the other Google Maps plugin but would make it so you wouldn’t have to create all the Google map code and stuff… just have your plugin add the user data to the correct tables for the Google Map plugin ?? Then, people could display their list of users using the map created by the Google Map plugin. Just an idea!

Oh, also, on a totally different note, have you thought about an option to have a column for “social media”. For example, I think it would be cool to pluck the Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. data out of the profile and show the simple small square icon for each that is filled in (or selected ones maybe) in the row for the user. I’d like to include Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. links in my userlist but the text https:// addresses would get a bit long and make my list look messy. Icons instead of text would be sweet I think!

I just wish I knew how to do all this stuff like you guys so I could do it myself. LOL

    Thanks again for considering this!

Hello! I’m using the most current version of this (1.2.8) and am having the same problem. I love the plugin (thank you!) and am using this and it is working great with the exception of I am getting the same error “You do not have sufficient permissions to edit this user, contact a network administrator if this is an error!” which causes no email to be sent as well.

I’m getting ready to go “live” with the site I’m working on and this is the only thing I have left to resolve. I’m guessing you haven’t had a chance to update this yet? (not sure what version this was posted for) Would it be possible for you to post the code to fix this here so I can manually fix it? Thank you so much!!!

A fix was posted by the guys at the Suffusion Theme board. This may be a bug in WP-United not following the theme quite right? Don’t know but this bit of code and info fixed the problem!

    Very cool!

I’ve been reading up on some of the plugins and it seems like I might be able to use a combination of different plugins to “maybe” build a table of users with the proper info then “maybe” I can figure out how to use that to build a Google Map. I think that might be pie in the sky thinking for me to do that though. LOL

FYI, I’ve done some additional changing of settings and even when I make the right column 10px smaller it still doesn’t work. I even resubmitted on the “Integrate Themes” page because it seemed like that may need to be done after each change as I noticed when I changed the background color it did not change on the Forum page.

Also, before I figured out that I may need to resubmit the “Integrate Themes” page I changed several settings in the Suffusion theme to where I made the page 1200px wide and that didn’t work either.

I did install this and might be missing something simple but will go back and see if that is the case.

    Thanks!

    Sounds pretty good ??

I’m using the plugin “User Registration Aide” to allow the use of additional fields as well as force the user to input their City, State, and Zip (in separate fields). Would what you have work to “pluck” this data and make the map?

    (@bfranker)

Any luck on figuring anything out here or did you give up? ??

    Thanks!

If you get something working, let me know and I’ll try to test it for you!

I don’t ever try to say anything sounds “easy” if I don’t know how to do it. LOL

But, yes, that seems like the basic idea I would think. Will you use something like [user map] on a page or post that would then insert the Google Map for the users in that particular post or on that particular page? I’d guess you’d also need to have a settings page that allowed you to enter the initial center of the map (optional) and the size (width and height). That’s kind of the format I noticed when looking at all the other Google Map plugins.

That would be pretty darn cool if you could come up with something! Heck, even if there are no real options initially that would work for me as all I’m really looking for is a map of the USA showing the location of maybe a couple hundred people that I could stick on a “page”. ??

    Thanks!

I don’t know how to program so can’t help you but in looking around, it seems like the BuddyPress forum plugin DOES provide a Google Map that shows the location of all registered users. If somebody knows about programming maybe they can look at just that snippit of code and make it work for this.

There are already plugins that allow extra or custom fields to be added during the registration or added in the user profile section. So, if you could just point to one of those custom/extra fields that have the “address” (or zip) then use that to build the map, i’d think that would work. But, I don’t know how to code so can’t do it myself. Bummer ??

Edit: I’m not sure if the BuddyPress plugin itself does the Google Map or if I was reading about another plugin that goes with BuddyPress to do this. I suppose I could just do that but I don’t really need a forum so don’t want to install all that just to get a Google Map ??
