That’s what I got out of the reading too, but unfortunately, something else is controlling the registration page, as when I turned the password off in S2, it is still there on our physical registration page. I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out where this registration page is coming from. It does NOT look like a standard WordPress registration page, though obviously it functions like one. I can’t find a plugin that is modifying it. I looked through the FTP to find source-code modification, but couldn’t find it. None of the people who set up the site are around to consult with so….I’m not certain how to make the changes needed as it is still allowing them to pick their own passwords though I’ve disabled that in S2 on the actual registration page.
So is the bottom line then on this some how, some where, I’m supposed to be able to turn off something with the Passwords at registration and add this code %%ww_set_pass_url%% somewhere to the custom newly registered email?
What does this code insert? Does it need text proceeding it for the lowest-common knowledge level of user to understand what it is?
Where do I turn on/off the registration page PW thing? Within BB? BP? S2? WP settings some place?
It is so hard to understand what GitHub is or the information presented there as I’m really unfamiliar with what y’all are talking about. I’ve been reading and re-reading and don’t seem to be able to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks, KTS915. The changelog is very confusing.
Typo WP/word press. Yes, new users set their own password when registering.

In reply to: Registration Page Location via FTPUnfortunately, the file isn’t in the theme or child theme’s files. There isn’t anything that matches the text on our registration page in any of the locations I’ve looked so far. So….I’m still looking and searching for recommendations where the registration page code comes from.
Looks like we have Version 1.3.4.3
