it looks the same within the backend, the same thumbnail are blacked out.

I am experiencing the same kind of issue, unfornutaely using the latest version and clearly the cache doesn’t resolve the issue. It only seems to randomly effect posts, and i can’t figure out why or how they may be different that a thumbnail wouldn’t be created. they are displayed fine within desktop and mobile Instagram website and app.
