All of that information is really helpful! And I had no doubt the plugin was working as expected. I could see the difference in file size when doing my testing as well.

What I was referring to was more so when you ran the website through a site tester like https://www.webpagetest.org/. If the largest contentful paint is an image, it still shows it as a .png or jpg.

Hubspot tests report a high LCP as well but it doesn’t tell me what the actual LCP score was. I’m assuming it’s scanning the .png instead of .webp? Or something along those lines?

Clients get really hung up on “tests” instead of how the site actually performs and trying to “clean up” a report that shows a high LCP even though the images are compressed and small is kind of hard! lol.

But if there’s not an issue with the site scanners then I’ll use your provided information to show that the site is actually serving webp images and the scanners are wrong :).

Is this issue going to be fixed? Or are you just going to ignore the complaints? Also @octotoot mentioned adding the phone number into the notes. Why is that a reasonable solution? Why should you have to add the phone number twice to get the desired result when you can just switch the phrase “Group Phone” to show the actual phone number?

I guess I really don’t understand why the button has to say “Group Phone” instead of just showing the number? What benefit is there to “Group Phone” over “(555) 555-5555”? Also, what if people don’t have an app on their computer that can make calls? It just seems like an all around step backwards in UI. You don’t even have a title tag that when hovering over the button the phone number shows up. Overall this change doesn’t add any value to the user experience. If anything it’s made it worse and has managed to make users and clients mad. All you have to do is change “Group Number” to display the actual phone number and problem solved.

There is an email header called “Sender” which contains just the default email address you added in the plugin settings. This “Sender” header seems to overwrite whatever you put in the Gravity Forms “From” field.

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer yet either, just wanted to make you aware.

Hmm, I have gravity forms on a different site and I still have the “Sender” header in my received emails. I’m just using the SMTP functionality from WHM/cPanel to send emails. You’re suggesting maybe a setting in there is adding the “Sender” header? If that’s the case, then why don’t I see the “Sender” header when using other SMTP plugins?

I’m running out of ideas… anything else I could try? I really like this plugin because of the global BCC option, so I don’t really want to switch plugins.

Thank you for the reply. However, what I need to get rid of is the “Sender” header from the email header snippet below.

When an email is received, all that is displayed in my email application is the email address from the “Sender” line. Other SMTP plugins don’t even have that “Sender” header. The name in the “From” line is dynamically added using WPCF7’s merge fields and I need that to show in my email applications.

Please tell me how I can remove the “Sender” header. Thank you.

Haha, I understood what you meant. However, since Google Maps can be accessed via a web browser on any device, I would think that would make it the most important option. So unless you detect the users device and can have the plugin choose which service to use, my opinion would be to use the service that can be accessed on any device with an internet connection.

But other than that, this plugin is great!
