In reply to: [jQuery Responsive Select Menu] Menus not disappearingProblem resolved. I had used “diplay: block” to adjust the mobile menu positioning. But this kept the menu from displaying “none” when the screen size increased. In other words, the custom css was overriding the default behavior of the plugin.

In reply to: [jQuery Responsive Select Menu] Menus not disappearingI think I had a slight cache issue contributing to the problem. At this point, the desktop menu disappears on mobile, as it should. But the mobile menu does not disappear on larger screens.

In reply to: [jQuery Responsive Select Menu] Adjustments to dd windowI understand perfectly. I think I’ve managed to make some adjustments that will work just fine. Great plugin, btw. Thanks for all your hard work.
Take care. : )

In reply to: [jQuery Responsive Select Menu] Adjustments to dd windowSorry it took me so long to reply. I’d be glad to email or message you a link if you’d like. Basically, I just want to center the dd box that contains the menu options. Right now, with the second menu on my main page, the dd box pushes to the right and tends to disappear a little off the screen. I’m comfortable writing custom CSS. I’m just having some trouble finding the right selector.

In reply to: [Countdown Timer] How to change structure? That’s okay. I just eliminated the text and went with numerals on the display only.
Thanks.

In reply to: [jQuery Responsive Select Menu] Need different names for menus on same pageI was having the same issue. Thanks, Mickey. It worked like a charm for me as well. Except I was having issues with that Script & Styles editor. Elected to use Safe Editor instead. Not really important, though. Thanks, again, for the support.
Afraid I’m still not having any luck. None of those troubleshooting issues seem to apply to me. jQuery is definitely loading to the page, and not more than once. My footer and head functions are in place.
I tried the Smart Slider 2 plugin and it seems to work well. Just disappointing since I prefer this one. Thanks, though.
Hey, thanks, Dave. I looked but wasn’t able to find that particular entry. I’ll check it out. I’ll post here if I get it resolved.
Thanks, again.
Hi, Dave,
Unfortunately, my site is on localhost.
But here’s another debugging error. Basically, saying the same thing as above.
TypeError: $(…).flexslider is not a function

In reply to: This is oddNo, that’s my point. I removed the title call from the header. I also removed all functions pertaining to wp_title in my functions page. Still, the title is appearing. I’m trying to find out what’s calling it in.
Hm. That seems to defeat the purpose of using a plugin for migration if it’s just going to create additional steps. I think I’ll stick with manually transferring files.
I am having the same issue. I am trying to migrate from MAMP on a Mac to XAMPP on a PC. I have used this plugin previously with much success. I am following the same steps here, but, when I click “Save Permalinks” on the test page, I get the following 404 error:
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
When I click “test site” I am redirected to the local directory index inside the site folder. I tried going to the parent directory and clicking that, but it simply opens the folder and displays the contents in another index. Clicking on any of those files downloads them to my pc. On further inspection, the database file and the config file were both empty when I opened them. Completely blank files.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with the update, but I have never had any problems with using this plugin until today.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. This plugin is brilliant and I hope to continue using it for a long time. Good luck!
