In reply to: database error connection issuesok I found it. It seems buried. After looking at the links you provided, shouldn’t the username and password in the config be my Admin data? Or is is host data? I’ve never altered it but it’s not recognizable to me.
I am able to login and have been for years. I’m confused.

In reply to: wrong user appears in commentsto pannesinfo: several readers have told me about this and one called to say that a comment posted with his name was not from him
jacob: your question is interesting … they’ve only told me that when they view a post and navigate to the comment submission section at the bottom there is another’s name and email address already there.

In reply to: mobile version does not update with new contentit says they haven’t updated it in two years – so I should change to something more current. I’m currently backing up my wp-Content folder before I change to another theme. Is there anything else I should do to be safe?

In reply to: mobile version does not update with new content– Did you update WP? Yes? Was it auto update or manual update? Also, updated from what version? auto update … not sure when that took place
– Did you install/update plugins? updated a plug-in the other day, it caused the site to lock up, host tech support got rid of it
– Did you install/update theme? no
– What theme are you using currently? Where did you download it from? Arclite haven’t touched it in years except for their updates nothing recent)
– Are ALL your plugins and the current theme up to date? yes
– Have you moved your site to new server, new domain, or new directory two months or so ago
– Did your site work without any issue before (No hacking, no error, etc.)? yes
– Have you checked your server error logs? noForum: Fixing WordPress
