Yeah, I was using both. I had the same issue on my android and my girlfriend’s iphone. I think I figured it out though. I didn’t have the secondary menu set up to hide on mobile devices. That explains why it would briefly show the other menu. It was almost like it was trying to show both menus in the mobile menu.

I replaced the ‘/path/to/script’ with ‘/script.js’ because my js file is in the same folder as my css file. When I view the source I can find both files being linked, but my script still does not work. I couldn’t find anything in the links you provided that jumped out as a possible cause. Is there anything you can think of that I may have missed?

Sorry, I just have it set up on my local server.

Adding that to my child theme style.css did work. My site showed the red border.

I also checked my file names again. It is called “functions.php.”

Is it weird that my style.css works just fine even when it’s not linked through my functions.php file?

Yup, I can see it’s active. Should I try creating the child theme with a plugin instead? I just created the files based on info I found online.
