In reply to: Nameserver needs to be redirectedThe Name Servers can only be changed at the company where you bought the .com domain name.
If you bought the domain from WordPress, then you probably bought it through the wordpress.com account and not here at www.ads-software.com. You would need to log into your wordpress.com account instead or ask them for help.
If you didn’t buy the domain name from WordPress, then you need to go to that other company to point the domain to Bluehost instead of pointing it to WordPress.
Usually the domain name that shows will come from a setting in your WordPress Dashboard when logged in as admin. Under Settings go to General. There will be 2 URLs and you should usually have both of them set to the same one, which you want people to see on your site.
If these are already set correctly for you, then it must be something else than the main wordpress program, like a plugin, that is affecting it.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelru4god: You need to start your own post and not write on someone else’s.
I’ve come across that problem on their chat before. They said, If you are first in line and don’t get connected within 1-2 mins, then you are no longer connected to their system and you have to close and open a new chat again. Kind of an annoying glitch, but at least you don’t have to wait long to know if you have to restart to get a tech quickly.

In reply to: FTP drama…Yes, esmi means the Name Servers. They can take up to 72 hours, though most of the time they take less than 24 hours. If it’s not working after 72 hours, you should contact your hosting company to help you with the FTP.

In reply to: Published page not showing up – 404Try going in your Dashboard to Settings > Permalinks. You don’t need to change anything on the Permalinks page, but just click Save Changes at the bottom. Then check your site to see if that fixed it.
You can also change options on the Permalinks page if you want to change the way the URL looks from p=### to the /date/page format or others.

In reply to: getting photos from another websiteI’m not sure exactly what step you are at in using NextGen Gallery, but Bluehost made a video for how to use that plugin quickly. Here’s the link to the YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EmbiqeDuYk

In reply to: What do these referrers mean? That only means what site they were on before coming to your site. They might be linking to you somewhere on one of their pages, or they just typed in your URL manually when they were looking at that other website first before you.

In reply to: Not able to log inI am guessing that you have not yet pointed your domain to Hostmonster from your old company. I looked up the settings for you. You have to change the Name Server settings to:
ns1.hostmonster.com
ns2.hostmonster.comForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionI know that Bluehost has 3 backups at a time. One from the night before, one from the last week, and one in the last month. So if your problem started less than a month ago, they should be able to help you.

In reply to: My website isn't shown when typed inIf it is a blank white page, that usually means there’s a problem with a plugin or theme, but could be something else. You should try to check your error logs by going into your cPanel, click on Error Logs, and look at the lower section under PHP error logs.

In reply to: Moving to new server with no access to myphp or cpanelDatabases are not normally accessible by FTP. You normally have to ‘export’ a database from a program like PhpMyAdmin. You might have to ask your friend that owns the account to get a copy for you.
If the email is coming from (username)@box###.bluehost.com then that means you need to make sure that the ‘from’ email address in your WordPress settings is set to one that is inside your hosting account.
Even though your email goes to gmail instead of bluehost, WordPress is sending email out from Bluehost, and you will need to create that email address on the Bluehost side only for sending. Inbound emails will still go to gmail.
Not that it fixes the bug, but to get it to work on Hostmonster, I know with them you can change the PHP Config to use PHP 5.3 or 5.4 if you want.
