Thank you for your response. I was able to fix the number of sliders by creating a category and setting the slider for that category only.

Regarding your question, Do you want to change the post content that also appears in the slider?

No, not in the slider, but the content right below the slider that shows the latest blog posts. It repeats what is in the slider and would like to set it to automatically skip contents in the slider.
