In reply to: [Indite] Putting an image Gallery in ‘Featured Post’Hello Alexander,
I was curious if you could help me with this issue. I tried a few options in the past few days without success. Here’s what I think:
The ‘Gallery’ requires a ‘featured image’ to be displayed. In the ‘Indite’ theme only an ‘Image’ post format is able to show the ‘featured image’, as opposed to the ‘standard’ post format for default WordPress themes.
There’s a clash between the post-formats, for e.g., ‘Gallery’ post does not display the ‘featured image’, and that’s why I think the gallery isn’t visible. In that regard, the ‘Gallery’ post format for the ‘Indite’ theme is virtually left without an objective since the ‘Gallery’ block can do the job in the post.
I’d be glad if you could validate my concerns and let me know.

In reply to: [Indite] Putting an image Gallery in ‘Featured Post’Hey Alexander, thanks once again for responding.
As fas as I can remember, I wrote the post and changed the post attribute to ‘Gallery’. I uploaded the images separately but then I couldn’t find the “Add Media” button to attach the images (following steps from this post). Apparently, a lot of people have been complaining about this but funnily I can see the gallery in my older posts.
Any alternative solution to this?

In reply to: [Indite] Missing Font Awesome RSS Icon in ‘Social Links’Thanks Alexander, this worked like charm.
Btw, I read a previous post about installing the ‘Indite’ child theme but I couldn’t find the theme on the Indite theme website. Can you direct me to the link?

In reply to: [Indite] Featured Image on PagesHey Alexander, glad to see your reply! Thanks, and I really appreciate it.
Based on your theme the ‘Featured Image’ in Posts requires a ‘Gallery’ post attribute, and a similar function (to choose the post attribute) is missing within the Pages function. Any suggestions to work around this?
I think because of this reason, I am currently not able to see the ‘Featured Image’ on the Page.
Edit: My apologies Alexander, I’m able to see the ‘featured image’ now.

In reply to: [WP Twitter Auto Publish] ‘Permalink’ not getting publishedThank you @anjali94, I have tried all options including uninstalling/re-installing the plugin, but to no avail. And now there’s a new development. I just realized I cannot see the Twitter Auto Publish option under my post draft in the WP admin! I changed my browser, also uninstalled/re-installed the plugin but it didn’t work. I think I will contact your support or just move on with other available options.
Thank you once again for your support & patience.

In reply to: Contact Form 7 and WordPress version 2.9.2I rebuild the form again and there’s no sign of it working. Thoroughly disappointed at the complicated structure of programming.

In reply to: Contact Form 7 and WordPress version 2.9.2Hi Takayukister – I checked the contact page and it is using the “[contact-form 1 "Contact form 1"]” code. Is that what you were saying?

In reply to: Contact Form 7 and WordPress version 2.9.2Thanks Takayukister – Can you elaborate on “post/page”? sorry but I’m a little slow in understanding programming languages.
BTW, I added the “wp_head(, wp_footer()” in the header.php & footer.php pages respectively. You can now see the AJAX circling arrows when you submit the form but the error/success messages are still elusive. I’m breaking my head to solve this ??

In reply to: Contact Form 7 and WordPress version 2.9.2thanks so much Takayukister. I can say with certainty that it was working well before. However, I will give the default theme a try as you suggest.

In reply to: Contact Form 7 and WordPress version 2.9.2thanks a ton for the confirmation folks – I will deactivate the plugins to check the fault. I have an inkling otherwise that it might be a cause of changing the permalinks structure. I cannot confirm that. If you can check https://www.bhooshan.com/contact and let me know it’d be great.
