Never mind! Found it,
As instructed by the plugin, the names of the teams do not update automatically. You need to login to Admin >> World Cup >> Teams and Matches >> Teams and edit teams, replacing Winner of Group A by Brazil, Second Place for Mexico and so on.

Hi there, I have some problems with the scores as well. Some users who guessed the exact score for the firts game Brazil-Croatia received 2 points instead of 4. One user who did not guess, got 4 points instead of 2. I recalculated this but it won’t change to the correct points. I did have problems with the plugin that first day and things got resolved once I ran the MySQL code you sent me. Now, is there a way I can hardcode the correct points for these several users? Thank you!
