You keep mentioning Plugins, but with ALL plugs disabled the problem still exists.
Changing Theme to 2021 the problem still exists.
The Sever is not overloaded
If the http/https was misconfigured in General Setting wouldn’t this affect all pages?
Bear in mind I can update ALL other pages.

Tried Twenty21 theme. No change
Disabled ALL plugins. No change
Disabled all Chrome extensions No Change. Except I got this message, once, only once.
Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
I have delete each block on the page, no change
Chrome is up to date.

What Specific steps?
As mentioned in the original post, I use Metaslider on several sites using the same settings, using the same theme, all of them still work fine. Same plug-ins on most.
Same server.

Difficult.
How do I explain to the client that the error is back?
I could get away with a brief period but how can I sync that with your investigation?
I tried disabling lazy images, that has solved the problem.

The image you mention: /wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Almeta-2019Ex1100px-1.jpg?resize=825%2C375&ssl=1.
Is already sized to 1100 x 500px which is the size the slider is set for.
That file is in the standard location.
That slider has been working fine for 5 months until last week. The theme was not updated recently, it last updated in October 2020.
There is no ‘add CSS’button.
So I deactivated all plugs, that fixed it. I activated then one by one, Jetpack is the problem. BUT I use this same configuration of plugs and theme, including JetPack, on several sites without any problems. Those other sites use JetPack image acceleration, I tried running JetPack without the image acceleration it still produced the white space error.

You’ll need to select the option for NVP/SOAP API integration option.
This was the vital piece of information I needed.
To non-IT people, NVP/SOAP API integration (classic) means nothing, even after I looked up what the acronyms stood for.
