No i didnt try to upload plugin via FTP.
Few last update I have an error, when i firstly update the plugin from repository. Than I should felete all file via FTP and instal fresh version of both plugins.

Last time the files deleting didnt help. If I have intaled fresh copy, it wrote me Update was not succesful. I shoud delete both plugin, go to database delete maipoet tables. Than instal new version od plugin and delete mailpoet tables in DB adn upload mailpoet tables(DB) from backup….
It is stil broken for me (3.73.1) with note

EDIT: it seems like the plugin update have some issue with maintenance mode. When I delete the plugin folder from maintenance folder /upgrade/ (via FTP), than I can see that the plugin was succesfuly updated in administration (by pressing F5).- This reply was modified 3 years ago by Radek Kucera.

It stays there for me…
I think because I did not deinstal the main plugin (it got error) and just delete the files via FTP.
But it will be better if you do backup before you do it.

0) Backup Database
1) If maintenance mode stay: delete mailpoet folder from /upgrade/ (via FTP)
2) delete both mailpoet plugin folder from /wp-content/ (via FTP)
3) Instal maipoet from www.ads-software.com
4) Instal premium pluginAt last time I have tried instal mailpoet form wordpress repository five time with error. At sixt-time I was success…

just FYI: Until you setup GDPR page in WordPress administration, this plugin wont save (show) any changes. Great plugin
I have deselected the enable developer mode option from installation.
FYI: If I select developer mode, I have to fill in ID and key, which I dont know…Thank you, for link t FAQ. But I cant find General Settings in GA. Do you mean User setting or certain account setting?
