Have you cleared out your browser cache ? You might also try a different browser. I’ve run into this problem as well and sometimes the browser doesn’t clean itself and cause’s this type of error. What browser are you using ??

I had the same problem of not being able to insert images into my post and I found that my scroll to the top plugin was causing the problem. I deactivated it and everything was fine. So, I had to find a replacement. I’d suggest, if you do have a scroll to the top plugin to deactivate it and see what happens. It worked for me… hope this helps
