Hello – I’m also wondering what the ETA is for the fix. Have a meeting with the client in 2 days and can’t move forward.
Besides being able to edit existing descriptions, I also cannot add any new answer fields. It’s pretty much unusable.
Hope it’s a quick fix. If not, I’d also like to know a workaround.
Thanks
Hi Bojan –
I was looking at the general student area in Coursepress instead of the specific course student tab. My bad. And – no students show up in the general student tab – not an issue for us though. Thanks so much Bojan.
Hi Bojan –
That didn’t work. Status was “shipped” (even though there is no shipping). I set it to paid and that did not change anything for the existing students. I set it to closed and that did not change anything. I did not used to have this issue. Any other ideas?
Thanks
Hi – I narrowed the slowness down to loading the units page from “continue learning” or “details” from the my courses page. I suspect something in the browser caching..?
The course overview [in admin panel] is not showing up at all now – there is the tab for it and then blank grey space. The units page shows up fine – with one unit not showing the elements I had entered. At this point I have no idea what’s happening and don’t trust that I can reliably use this product.
Thanks for any support you can offer – I really liked the way it looked and functioned until these rough spots and would like to use it.
Hi Bojan –
The page is member only found on the Units Page (that displays all the units for the course), though here is the snapshot:

I’m using Coursepress Version 1.2.4.5. Any ideas?
Hi Bojan –
I followed the directions from the plugin developer and the unit elements are still missing – and the site is so slow. I can’t even work in it. I noticed it slowing down around Unit 10. Content on the 7 regular “pages” is very limited. Most of them are linked to coursepress units as hint guides.
Any ideas or do I need to find another solution? This has been weeks in the making and we really don’t want to start over. I’m also working with our hosting company to troubleshoot.
I am using Coursepress Version 1.2.4.5
p.s. the unit is there. All of the elements have disappeared.
p.s. I have 16 units, all with one page.
Figured out a work-around – paste the text in TextEdit and then make sure that it is pasted back in the unit so that none of the font family or sizes are other than the default.
Be nice if there was a choice there for theme setting.
Cheers.
works like a charm. you’re the best, Bojan!
Cheers
Nevermind – installing jetpack fixes this – [shortcode embed] – you can just put the URL in and it will cleverly do the rest!
Video info: width=”500″ height=”281″ frameborder=”0″
Can you also let me know the CSS for hiding “submit different answer” from student view? Since it can’t be done for field answers, I’d rather not have it there at all. BTW, The code above worked perfectly!
Thanks,
Laura

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Student change answer at anytimeHi –
I am having the same issue as dmayer5. We want students to change or add to answers if they’d like, and the answers (aside from the final unit) will not be assessed. It’s like a living document that they can return to for information and update at anytime.
Is this possible in the regular version? I tried the work-around in this strand and it wasn’t working effectively.
thanks
Very well, thank you! Regarding the expander code in the unit…
The idea is that students think about their own experience and write their answers first. If they need some hints, they can click “examples” beneath the answer box and the example items will open underneath “examples” or in a pop-up when hovered over.
Since this is built in a unit elements area where this kind of coding is not possible, the only work-around I could figure out is to link to another page with the examples and then they can go back to the course.
If you have ideas here, it would be great as linking to another page is not ideal. If you need more info or this is not clear, let me know.
Cheers!
