Yes – that is what I put:

– but it doesn’t work.
(The target page exists and the number is correct – I double-checked again).
Rather, it only jumps me back to the home page (which is a welcome page made static) with the following showing up in the address line:

https://madebytheriver.com/?page_id target=

Any idea why it won’t work?

Ok – the directory is locked down and the contents are not public. But here is a screen shot of the upper left-hand corner of the blog.

The title is ‘the workshop’, and right under it is
the tag line ‘of Kerry and Lisa’ – this is almost invisible because of the grey coloring, WHICH will not change even though the css modified as above.

Well, I see that on the Refresh! author’s site there is a reference to a 3-column version of Refresh!. I would like to know where I can download that. It doesn’t show up in the theme viewer and I can’t download anything off of Beng’s site.

(Perhaps that has the date graphic I am looking for).

Did as you suggested… even grabbed a brand-new download, unpacked, checked out all the pics (still didn’t see one for the little frame around the date!), but renamed the ‘sidebar-header-bak’ to ‘sidebar-header’ and got my curved header-box tops in the sidebar, like I wanted.

Still want to know where the date graphic is or how that is accomplished.

Can you have a look at that piece, it just doesn’t appear to be in the package!

Okay – resolution…

The FTP connection was dropped on install and files must have been ultimately corrupted somewhere along the line.

So yes, it was a lousy install.

Everything was reinstalled and it’s rock solid/

Okay – that makes good sense.

But why wouldn’t I have sufficient priviledges to my MySQL database? Where would I adjust that?

The setup with my host went well… I have been able to get in and see that indeed no post content is being stored in the ‘post’ fields, but the content is being written to the database for the ‘title’ field. What’s up with that?

It can’t be anything missing from the template… because I loaded Connections, Minima plus and WordPress Default templates and tried them all… are you saying all these templates are missing the basic post main content statement?

Again, I did not fiddle with these themes, just downloaded them and copied them up.

I type the content into the title, and wordpress keeps and publishes that, but when I add text to the ‘post’ section, it does not publish it, nor does it save it. It just does not exist.

? Any thoughts?
