In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Turn "No end time" on for all eventsI was able to hide the end time with js on the first page only. If you navigate to the next week the page doesn’t refresh so they come back. The end time is hidden if you edit the event and select the “No end time” checkbox (ai1ec_instant_event) but I can’t find where to set this true for every imported event. I also tried to edit out the ‘enddate_info’ sections in the code without success.
Any pointers where to look for this lookup/render?
Thanks!
Calvin,
I updated the plugin and refreshed the feed (said imported 487 items). It’s still missing the dates mentioned in the previous post. Also in this new version you can’t select how often you want the feed to refresh. Looking at the ai1ec_cron job it’s scheduled to run every 24 hours (which is why you saw a 9 hour delay). This can’t be changed through the UI anymore.
Thank you so much for your help! So excited to get this to work.
Calvin,
I just checked the test page I have and 99% of the events are showing up now. I don’t know what changed (new version?). I can see recurring events but random ones are missing.
Here’s my test link:
https://www.tippingchairtavern.com/on_stage_2/6/26 for example is missing (recurring event titled Tonny Penna, Hannah & John)
6/27 (recurring event titled Marty Q Duo)Odd thing is some of the events right around these are recurring events and they are showing up (Timmy Maia, Rohn Lawrence & Friends).
Couple of more in July:
One example is 7/16 – Single event (not recurring) titled Joon.Thank you for all the help!!!!
Here is my calendar. It has events on every day of the week (some have 2). You will see days that are skipped each month are the ones setup as recurring events. Thanks for the help!
The plugin update to version 2.5.1 corrected the problem where the import never completes for me. I’m getting a lot more of my calendar items now but the recurring meetings are still being skipped.
I’m having the same issue. I added a recurring event to a Google calendar and that imported fine. The RRULE: line between the 2 calendars is exactly the same (with my test event) but the Outlook one sits at “please wait” and only single events are imported (or the first event of the series). The problem is happening on my local DEV environment and the published site.
Angelo, thank you for the reply. I was really confused when I couldn’t find this option. The settings screen show “Booking cancelled” email templates etc. I assume these were added to support the future feature?
So my only option is to export the bookings (CSV option) and manually email the users?
Thanks!
I rotated in Photoshop and it stays vertical now. Doing a quick search it appears that WordPress looks at the exif data for alignment on the full size images only but thumbnails ignore it. Windows 8 must rotate without updating the exif data. Odd that pictures from a cell phone are fine but pictures from a DSLR need to be rotated in a tool like Photoshop. I’m not a big fan of this option because photoshop bloats the images with metadata after re-saving them. Any chance you could add an enhancement in the future to rotate based on the exif data for both thumbnails and the intermediate size?
Thanks!
The pictures are rotated offline but when I upload them any vertical picture rotates right now. This didn’t used to happen. Is it possible that windows is reading the exif and correcting the orientation? I even tried to rotate right, save, then rotate back to vertical and save. When the image is uploaded it still goes right. The max PHP memory I believe I can configure is 20mb. I will try to adjust though.
Thanks!!!
Thank you for the reply. Great plugin and support!
I will dig around the core code and see if I can change it. If I get something to work I will reply back.
Thanks again!
