Thanks for your reply. It always terminates with an error…but this is most likely a GoDaddy cpanel account issue. I’ve used Duplicator on other sites okay, but have had no luck on the GD cpanel account. I resorted to a manual cpanel backup after a diligent Internet search.

Never mind. (Cough.) In the Genesis framework, the dashboard includes a setting for displaying the featured image in a content archive posts. Sorry for the trouble.
