I already asked Woo support to delete GMC accounts that are generated by the plugin, but seems there is no response.
Anyway,
FYI – yesterday i tried to connect this website using Google listing and ads plugin to a brand new Gmail account and using a brand new Google merchant account
and the pop-up error was still there.

I just tried to connect this with a new Gmail account, a new standalone Google Merchant account and already connect the Google ads account, and it still fails. the same error.

I will try to re-install the plugin and reconnect using a new Gmail account and a new MC account.
But i have a question, how do I un-claim this website from a previous merchant account? Is this plugin related to the google webmaster tool also?

and about the MCA account, previously i can connect one website to this account, and the creation process of the Google Merchant account was done from the plugin option (there is option if we want to create new MC account), i created new MC account from plugin, and it works, and the merchant account is not ‘sub-account’.

But for this current website, it fails to connect.

how if i try to connect using other Gmail address and create a new merchant account using my other gmail address?
But I am afraid Google will not let me do that, just like google ads account same person is not allowed to create 2 ads account using different email.

Yes i followed your steps, disconnected and reconnected both. and after that I reconfigured the plugin from start, and still no luck.
how ever, there is one thing I want to ask you;
Should we create a new merchant account at the time we configure the plugin at the first step in wordpress? OR, should we create on the Google Merchant Center and then configure the plugin in the WordPress and choose the Merchant Account we create earlier?? Which one is better?

Hi,

I use 1 Gmail address, but I create many merchant accounts;

• 1 account is MCA (which has a sub-account) – it works well using google listing and ads plugin and is connected with my first website.
• 1 account was created by the ‘Google listing and ads’ plugin (as you know during configuring wizards there is a step where we can create a new Merchant Account) – it also works well and is connected with the Google listing and ads plugin of my second website.
• now I am doing the third website called jakartasparepart.com which is unable to connect (the one that we are trying to fix now). I try to create new merchant account to prevent any conflict that might happen.

At step number 4, the cursor change to waiting cursor without giving me a chance to connect to billing account. It detects how many products available to be imported to merchant.. and then waiting cursors. ( if it is the things that you want to know).

Here is woocommerce log for google listing and ads:

I tried to disconnect the google account and MC disconnect, and try to start from beginning set up new connection.. and still no luck.

One more thing, every time i fail to connect the plugin with google merchant, it creates a new google merchant account. The problem is, when i try to delete merchant account created by the plugin in Google Merchant page, it says ‘this is sub account can not be deleted’ BUT when i open the MCA there only 1 account which is my other merchant account for other website.

Thanks for your help.

I use the correct Google account. I can assure you that because I use the same Gmail account for other WordPress sites that use Google listing and ads also. I already used Google Listing and Ads plugins on the other 2 websites before and it works.

After confirming Store Requirement and clicking the continue button, at the last step ‘Google Ads’ , it keeps waiting ..
