  • Caught it again….this time I did Male, Time and option 5. Male =15, Time =5, Option 5= 1100.

It takes me to numerical results page and says (copied/pasted)

    Congratulations, you completed the quiz!

You achieved 1135 points from 4 questions.

Note: 4 questions. And again, it’s doubling the gender value, 15×2=30 30+5+1100= 1135

So now, at least it’s clear, it is calculating the first question value twice.

I have noted, that from 1st question answered to 2nd question it auto-advances, while from 2nd question to 3rd question you have to literally click the button to proceed. Not sure if that’s the cause, but it is an anomaly.

Ok, just produced the error. For the most part it was working, however, I tried options Female, Love and option 2 (I’m tired). First time I did it, redirected to optin page. 2nd time I did it, gave me numerical value of 846. 3rd time I tried it, redirected to the optin page. That’s like it counted the Female option twice?

I’ve checked it multiple times my friend. I mapped out the results before even entering the data. What it appears to be doing is skipping one of the variables in the calculation. The numbers it comes up with are not in my master list, nor in the data fields for any answer. So I set Male to equal 15, Female to equal 20. Wealth to equal 3, Health 4, Time 5, Love 6. Then the various longer winded options to 700,800,900,1000,1100, and 1200 respectively.

Then I listed every possible combination, 48 of them. Did the math three times to be certain no errors. Entered the value for each combination in min and max. Saved out.

Had my Mother, my son and a friend test every combination with a list to check off.
Encountered miscalculations a couple times, even tried changing to the stated values in the results. Next time through, came back with numerical answer, stating the proper value (which had now been changed to what it said previously was the value).

So I’m thinking it’s skipping one calculation sometimes…not sure why. But say for example it was M=15, Health=4, Option one = 700. The Min and max should be 719, but it would show numerical result with a different value.

This is sporadic, sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t and I can’t seem to isolate what’s causing it. My Mom’s computer is Windows 7, son’s is Windows 8, mine is Windows 10, friends is Windows 10. Tried on different browser and even on a smartphone. Still inconsistent.

So it appears that it’s just skipping one of the values in it’s addition.

    Hi @prasunsen,
OK, what’s happening is that sometimes it does exactly that, it goes to the intended report pages. There are 6 possible report pages that it can go to based upon the answers (variables). However, when I have various people test it, sometimes it goes to the reports, other times it throws them to the default scoring page with a numerical value.

Not sure what is causing the inconsistency, but I can replicate it if I take it with different answers a few time, like male/love/option 4 then female/health/option 5.

It’s a very powerful plugin..if I can just get it working properly…across all browsers/devices…and consistently.

    Thanks for taking a look.

What would make it worth your while to do so?

@prasunsen Any clues on this? I’m eager to have this work, but I had 3 different people test every variable combination. Sometimes, it has worked perfectly on every single variable (I have 48 possible outcomes, each go to one of six possible urls). Then, someone will come behind the last test, and wham, it miscalculates. I’m only using 3 questions.

Something I notice is that answering the 1st question, auto advances to the 2nd question, but answering the 2nd question requires the user to actually press the Go Ahead button.

The totals that are being shown instead of the redirection to the URL are not listed in any of the “Answers” because I took the time to calculate a series of variable values distinct enough to have precise numbers rather than a range.

I saw no JS errors in Chrome inspector…btw.

    I’m having same problem here:
