Where was this site hosted on? For example, if it is hosted via BlueHost then your ‘Delete Site’ option would not be visible under tools like WordPress[dot]com’s Dashboard.

For Bluehost hosted site, please login to your Bluehost account and follow the below steps:

1. Login to Bluehost and then click My Sites on the Side Panel Navigation Bar.
2. Hover over your Website and click Manage Site.
3. Go to Settings tab and by scrolling down to the end of the page, you will find Delete Site.

I would split your question into two parts for the ease of your understanding-

1. All of the content for my works pages is gone.
Can you please try adding format support to your custom theme pages for the images to be displayed?

2. It also isn’t showing me the history of revisions to the pages
Do you mean the Revisions menu is hidden from the layout or the previous revisions are not listed anymore? For the former issue, please click on ‘Screen Options’ located at the top right corner of your Edit Page screen and check the Revisions box. This will list out all your previous page revisions at the bottom of the page under the Revisions section.

Do you know WordPress autosaves all your updates on a page with each passing minute? ??
