In reply to: no navigation to the next pageDeactivating plugins and changing to WordPress Default theme does not solve this problem. Rolling back to version 2.5 seems to be the solution to the problem, as stated here, and that also proves this is a problem with 2.7.

In reply to: no navigation to the next pageThis did not work, zeronex. Well, the links do show up, but there’s an error on page and after navigating to
/page/2/
you cannot navigate further.I use a Bottom Page Navigation Page Template (bot-nav.php) and this is the code in it:
<?php posts_nav_link(' • ','Newer entries','Older entries'); ?>
The links simply don’t show up (they’re supposed to be in a small grey box under the last entry on the bottom of the index page on my site at https://www.skalholt.is). This is also the case in WP Admin, the navigation links for Posts and Comments don’t show up (although they work fine for Pages).

In reply to: Links in “Add Media” Palette malformed?UncleAndrew, does your problem still persist?!
I have the same problem and I posted about it here more than 9 months ago and I have had no reply. The site is running on IIS (I think) and the bottom navigation links disappeared when I upgraded to 2.5.

In reply to: Page navigation broken, both in theme and WP!Strangely enough, 8 months have passed now since my last post here and the problem still persists. I have upgraded to 2.7.1 now, gotten rid of all my plugins, tried many different themes, but the navigation links do not show up, neither on my site (in my theme) nor in WP Admin.
I have found that there are a few out there having the same problem and they all seem to use version 2.6.1 because the problem hasn’t been fixed. Take, for instance, a look at these two posts:
UncleAndrew
Navigation Links BrokenIt seems obvious that there are some issues to be worked out as far as WordPress goes.
Any advice would STILL be greatly appreciated!

In reply to: An admin with unsufficient permissions — Help!Well … at least some of it. The “Add New” feature in the Plugins area is now showing and I can view the plugins that need to be upgraded.
But I still cannot delete posts, drafts or users. Any help?

In reply to: Page navigation broken, both in theme and WP!Thanks, iridiax, for your comment.
The problem is not really on my own personal site listed in my profile, but another one I am making (www.skalholt.is). I’ve done what you propose and the problem is still there.

In reply to: Page navigation broken, both in theme and WP!I have reinstalled WordPress 2.5.1 trying to solve this problem and I have also changed the theme, but to no avail. My navigation links seem to have perished.
This comment caught my attention but I can’t really figure it out. Isn’t there a guru out there who can solve the problem?

In reply to: Alex King’s Popularity ContestThis might solve the problem, i.e. if you have access to PhpMyAdmin and know how to set up a MySQL-table on your own.

In reply to: Alex king fatal error Popularity ContestThe message I get is:
Table 'MYSQL_TABLE NAME.wp_ak_popularity_options' doesn't exist on line: 124
Can anyone solve this?
